The senior room participated in the ‘Say Yes to Languages’ sampler module in Term 3. We were delighted that Trudy Colfer could come and teach us all some French. The pupils really enjoyed this module and Trudy was a fantastic tutor!

Senior Room Tour 2024
The senior room headed off on Friday 24th May to Tanagh Outdoor Education and Training Centre. Everyone had a great time! School Allotment Plot
The pupils (and some green fingered parents!) planted potatoes, onions, carrots, parsnips, beans and broad beans in the school’s allotment plot beside the Old Railway Station. Last year’s potato crop was very successful so let’s hope that all our vegetable grow well again this year!
Ireland Reads Day
The pupils participated in a story-telling session with Jacqueline the librarian in Belturbet library to celebrate “Ireland Reads Day.”
Highland Dancing
The pupils are thoroughly enjoying Highland Dancing with their tutor Kenzey Downey. This is being provided by “The Ulster Scots Agency.”
‘Straw and Order Nativity’ Play
A big thank you to the TY pupils in St. Bricin’s College and their teacher Ms.Healy for creating a wonderful backdrop for our Nativity Play ‘ Straw and Order’ which our pupils performed in Belturbet Church of Ireland Church on the 8th of December.

Sports Day Medals

Harvesting the new potatoes!
On the 21st April we planted our first vegetables, onions and potatoes, in our allotment plot beside the Railway Station. After plenty of watering and care we were able to harvest the new potatoes on the 21st June with the help of Barry Wilson. The pupils were able to bring these home to their families...
