A big thank you to the TY pupils in St. Bricin’s College and their teacher Ms.Healy for creating a wonderful backdrop for our Nativity Play ‘ Straw and Order’ which our pupils performed in Belturbet Church of Ireland Church on the 8th of December.

The pupils all received a medal for participating in our Sports Day on the 6th June at Belturbet GFC. A big well done to everyone!
On the 21st April we planted our first vegetables, onions and potatoes, in our allotment plot beside the Railway Station. The pupils were asked by Belturbet and District Men’s Shed to paint some murals on the garden shed that is located at the Belturbet Community Development Association allotments where our school allotment plot is located. Many thanks to Mrs. Connolly, Ger and Banjo the dog for helping the pupils to complete this fabulous project!
The pupils have had a very busy week participating in ‘Active and Wellness Week’. They started off with some Gymnastics on Monday, Basketball and Circuit Training on Tuesday, Pétanque and a Buddy Nature Walk on Wednesday, Athletics on Thursday followed by healthy food tasting and reading with our ‘Buddies’. Our Easter Raffle and Bake sale was held on 31st March 2023 and we raised an amazing €1952.00, which will be used towards much needed school supplies. We would like to say a big thank you to all the pupils, parents and local businesses that donated prizes, baked cakes and sold raffle tickets.
