The pupils have had a very busy start to the school year. They have participated in European Week of Sport, Skip Around the World, Maths Week, Buddy Reading and received certificates for excellent attendance as well as having a Movie Day and a Pumpkin Party organised by our wonderful Parents’ Association.

Annagh Drumlane Community Games Winners
A huge congratulations to our four Community Games Winners who won medals for handwriting or model making. We are so proud of them.
Bike Week
Many thanks to Cavan Sports Partnership who came into the school to teach the children about bike safety.
Shared Education
We have recently completed a successful partnership with St Mary’s Primary School, Teemore. During this programme we focused on wellbeing through PE and activity. The children made lots of new friends and we’re hoping to continue with the programme next year.
Friendship Week
To mark Friendship Week, the children participated in ‘buddy reading’ to encourage friendships between the Junior Room and the Senior Room.

Pyjama and Movie Day
Our Parents’ Association organised a very exciting ‘PJ and Movie Day’ for all the pupils to enjoy on Friday 11th October.
